Looking to pick up a riser cable for my case swap to finally do vertical mount on my GPU.  Wondering if anyone has input on brands.  I was going to do the Linkup one on Amazon because it's supposedly PCIE gen 4 compliant so I could run that and leave the board in PCIE 4 mode in case I add in an SSD/etc. later on or eventual PCIE 4 cards come out.  It's a bit long for the Phanteks GPU mount at 300mm vs the phanteks one is 220mm and would only have a little bit of extra cable to deal with.  What do you guys think?  Phanteks or the Linkup one?  The Linkup one is also quite a bit more $$$ because of all the extra shielding in it.

Well, I went with the Phanteks 220mm Premium for now.  It's the perfect length for the built in GPU vertical mount in the Enthoo Luxe 2 (vs the bracket mount) but if I end up having PCIE problems later due to adding gen 4 devices I'll try the LinkUp 30cm one and have to deal with a bit of extra cable to fold up or something.

Use a sharpie marker as a tool to get a nice radius on your Bends.

Thanks, I'll remember that.  Oddly enough though, a couple months ago when I tried to do a vertical mount in my old H500M case I tried out the 30cm LinkUp PCIE4 cable and they actually send it folded in half.  They say it's fine to do that to theirs, but maybe they're using a different construction.  Those were double cables and tons of shielding and shielding wires.
