Hi

I m running the Nu Card in a 10 year old machine (Win 7 64 Pro Ati Radeon 4600) and it works really well. The only problem is working with the OSD. The Nu Audio OSD is obscured at the bottom of the screen by the Win 7 taskbar. When I lift the OSD with the mouse cursor, it reduces the the frame and the more I click on it , the more it shrinks. In order to restore the OSD I have to exit & relaunch. Is this a Win 7 issue or am I missing an obvious fix. Any ideas gratefully received.

    Welcome to the EVGA Forums

Set Win Taskbar to auto hide - if that is all you need

Or Move (drag) Taskbar to the Left, Right side of Windows Screen (unlock first - if it is locked)

If you Rt click the title bar of that Box - Can you:  --> Move ? --> Size ? -> Maximize ? --->  Open in a New Tab ?

thanks for the reply. I have set taskbar to auto hide but I can just see the tabs of the OSD at the bottom of the screen. When I use the cursor to move the OSD higher up the screen, the OSD shrinks from the bottom and the more I attempt to move the OSD higher, the more it shrinks.

This is a bit of a bizarre issue.  I'll forward to our team to look at.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled the utility : Windows 7 64bit. driver - v0.1.3.1 and the problems still persist. The GUI still shrinks from the bottom of the frame each time I click on it. Also when using Foobar v 1.4.6 with ASIO - Nu Audio, no output is indicted on the bars of the Master Volume graphic. If I switch to Primary Sound Driver, the sound bars appear. (This is the same with the Windows Sound settings).

As for the Equaliser, I can only hear a difference on the negative adjustments but not the positive settings ie anti-clockwise affects the sound but nothing changes when turned clockwise.

Good timing.  Our Audio Team tested this last night, but were not able to reproduce it.

    They suggested a few things:
    1. Update to the latest Radeon Software (if applicable)
    2. Change Display Text size to 100% (default)
    3. Use higher resolution, ex : 1920x1080
    4. If the resolution is too small (ex : 1280x720), the Win7 taskbar will obscure NU Audio UI.
Can you provide a screenshot or a video of the issue?

Regarding the ASIO/output bars, that's working as expected.  ASIO basically makes the card invisible to Windows, so it will not be able to detect the volume being played in an application using ASIO or Wasapi.

    Hi Lee
Many thanks for your time and effort to resolve my issues. I have set my display to enable me to see the full GUI and GPU drivers are up to date - I have an old GPU (HD 4670). The problem of the shrinking still persists. I shot a video but I cant seem to attach it to my reply - it only allows images.

I assume the issues with the EQ are the same as those experienced by Win 10 users. Thanks again for your help
