2080 Ti was at stock with my cpu @ 4.4 GHz.

So, what does it do with your daily driver settings?  This 121 FPS is on my 3900x & 2080 Ti FTW3 and my stable forever settings.  I'll see what my 3700x & 2080 Ti can pull later tonight... laundry calls.

Stock gpu clocks are my daily driver settings as I want my gaming to be as stable as possible. A few extra fps isn't worth the possible instability to me.

On air, I couldn't agree more.  Which makes me curious what my Louqe Ghost ITX build (3700x/2080Ti)is going to pull in comparison.  I have never actually directly compared them apples for apples.  They both run the same 1800IF, 3600MT, 16-16-16-16-32-48 system DRAM settings... though the ITX build is using a 2080 Ti Black vs the FTW3.

In post 1, your resolution shows 1440p and 116fps 18k+ frames rendered.

Your latest post says your resolution is 4K and you are getting 128fps 19184 frames rendered.

How did you increased your FPS and frames rendered while increasing your resolution?

1440p with a slight overclock applied...

here is the 3700x & 2080 Ti Black results... it would appear I need to revisit the config of the 3900x open loop build as it seems to have pulled 5 FPS slower than my little ITX rig.

Quality is off in that one. Looks much brighter which isn't correct.

EDIT: Looks like the brightness slider is actually higher. =)

Offset for the OLEDE65P TV and it's calibration.  Looks great in person but not ideal for gaming.  That rig is mostly for VR duty for the nieces.  It wouldn't make a difference... right?

I don't think it should make a difference. Was the card at stock settings? If so, that is really good as this is the best I can do...

h no. I ran it at the OC scanner offset suggestion for core which is what I use for folding (no failed WUs must be good, right?).  +800 Mem, +100 core and 75% fan speed until 80c.  For VR I run it @ stock.

Looks like corrupt nvidia control panel settings were messing with my score...

Had to reset everything to default and my score magically went up. lol.

A kind redditor or three noticed a driver version difference between my rigs... so I DDU'd and while I was rebooting elected to double check my ram settings.  Some of those subs were off a smidge and I really can't tell you why.  128 FPS so at least I am killing the referenced Zen 2 scores if not 9900k and 9900kf rigs.  I wonder if a driver update would put you over now that you've got NV Control panel sorted...

OH, and if you wouldn't mind screen capturing your 4k settings, I might just have to give that a go in the living room on the oled tv @ 4k as opposed to my office with G-sync

I never thought I'd be quoting Vin Diesel but in reference to my +20 frames out of 20k frames, "whether it's by an inch or a mile, winning is winning"

I am pleased my 3900x is running with a 5 year old HEDT Intel

the game must really look great at a 120 fps. Very nice job
it looks like your only using 73% of the gpu, Would that not indicate you could push it harder?
in 4k you were only 23% gpu bound i really thought that would be higher

In this benchmark the faster your gpu's the lower your gpu bound % goes.

I'm thinking the lower your gpu bound % is the closer you are to reaching your cpu bottleneck.
