I’m building a system with lots of RGB and dual watercoolers.  I’m running an Aorus x390 Waterforce MB and an Aorus 2808 Ti Waterforce cars, so the EvGA should be plenty of wattage. I’m using an EVGA 1000 P2 supply but the two perif cables doesn’t supply enough Molex connectors formy needs (3+2). What’s the best approach?

1) use Molex splitters on the existing Molex connectors?
2) use Molex adapters with the SATA cables?
3) get custom cables to repurpose the extra SATA/VGA plug-ins on the PSU to a Molex?

The absolute best thing to do would be to Contact EVGA Customer Service to buy another cable/more cables..Or..Buy a new cable from CableMod with up to four 4-pin Molex/Peripheral connectors on it for your 1000W P2, click to use the CableMod Configurator in the red banner.

SATA and Peripheral are interchangeable, so you can use any of those 6 outputs on your 1000W P2 if you have any one's currently unused.

Thanks for the guidance. I wasn’t sure if the output of the SATA ports were different from the perif ports. Sounds like getting more cables from cablemod is the cleanest option.

    No problemo.

And yeah, you can get an 85cm/33.4in CableMod cable in a variety of colors with four 4-pin Molex/Peripheral connectors on it for $12.90 + shipping..And yeah, SATA and Perif are interchangeable.
