iOS 13.1.3 has arrived as predicted, and iOS 13 now has its fourth fast-tracked iOS 13 upgrade in under a month as Apple continues to play Whac-a-mole with a multitude of iOS 13 launch problems. Once again, everyone running iOS 13 needs this but everyone on iOS 12 should stay away because it’s another bug-filled release.

iOS 13.1.3 is purely focused on bug fixes. Apple lists them as follows:

  • Addresses an issue that could prevent a device from ringing or vibrating for an incoming call
  • Fixes an issue that may prevent opening a meeting invite in Mail
  • Resolves an issue where data in the Health app may not display correctly after daylight savings time adjusts
  • Fixes an issue where Voice Memos recordings may not download after restoring from iCloud Backup
  • Addresses an issue where apps might fail to download when restoring from ‌iCloud‌ Backup
  • Fixes an issue that can prevent Apple Watch from pairing successfully
  • Resolves an issue where notifications may not be received on ‌Apple Watch‌
  • Fixes an issue where Bluetooth may disconnect on certain vehicles
  • Improves connection reliability of Bluetooth hearing aids and headsets
  • Addresses launch performance for apps that use Game Center

iOS 13.1.3 continues Apple’s rushed attempt to put out as many fires as possible in iOS 13, but it’s not going well. Only 24 hours since launch, the official @AppleSupport Twitter account faces another tide of angry and frustrated users. Most surprising is Apple has not successfully addressed the dropped calls issue, which should’ve been a priority.

Apple started going downhill when Jobs died, probably a bit before. I bet this trend will continue. I would have put them higher up on the quality of their products and software prior to Jobs dying. Now, I would put them on the same level as Google and Samsung. I would say behind when comparing the operating systems. Now, they are leaps ahead of any software that Samsung attempts. But, I don't buy a Samsung phone for the Samsung software. I buy them for the Google software and Samsung hardware.

Apple has a boat load of cash at their disposal for many years to come so I don't think they are worried too much.  With that said, that could be problematic though in a sense of cutting edge/innovations and software.

I think Apple still have people to continue vision of Steve Jobs, but how long will last his legacy it's under question?
I like Apple very much and before kids become old enough for games I would bought them rather iMac Mini and Apple Monitor then PC.
No matter where they manufacture I see Apple as typical American company and design of their computers and iOS is more attractive then Windows.
Only Windows is more for entertainment, games, etc... But as final product Mac Pro is better then HP or Dell PC, but price is higher.
Off course iPhone is only cell phone for me. I don't read news about other cell phones and I don't have desire to wear latest and most expensive iPhone. 2 years old model is perfectly fine for me. I only afraid they will lost their traditional difference from other cell phones because they try to continue Steve's vision and that can't last forever.
