Did you send your card in already?I sent in my card and it was received on Monday but still it still hasn't shipped, so I called them up to find out the status since in my experience it ships out pretty quick 1-2 days and they said there was some inventory error and do not have any in stock. Kinda like why was I told to send my card in if they didnt have anything in stock?? 
 
Not the end of the world, at least they upgraded my shipping to 2day. Sucks I'm only using onboard video and cant really play anything.

Oh, this will be interesting. I'm on the other side of the country so my old card won't get there until Wednesday. We'll see what happens when it gets there. Thankfully I've been holding on to the 1060 I originally upgraded from so it's not a huge deal if things are delayed a little, but that's really no fun for you.

Seems the initial surge of step ups has slowed down :(



My card is scheduled for delivery for today. It was shipped out like the next day after I called and they told me about the inventory issue. They may still be having problems though

Must be the issue with my Step-up.  They received it last Monday, Sept 29.  Still nothing on shipping out the replacement.  Sent them an email this morning about it, might have to call and complain.

That'll be getting close to a month that they'll have my card and not ship out the replacement, that they said would ship 1-3 business days.

Ah gotcha, yea there must have been a weird glitch in the system. For example I started my step-up on 12 July and I’m still in queue.

So maybe on the bright side, although you have to wait like 2 weeks it seems like you jumped ahead of a bunch of people waiting for step up (me included and I’m only slightly jealous)

Edit: he’s stepping up to a 2080 Super, ignore all this lol

Nah, happens to us all.  Was just about to ask what you were stepping up to. 
 
Just really frustrating that they say 1-3 business days to ship replacement, when it's going to be around 3 weeks, if I'm lucky.  Then to toss in that they didn't even send a message that there was a delay until I asked about it.  eVGA usually has some of the best customer service in the industry, but they are lacking on this one.  Still glad they offer the step-up program though.

Why do I have to wait in queue?
We have a queue for our Step-Up process so you can keep your current EVGA product until we have your new product ready and waiting for you in our warehouse. Sometimes, very high demand will necessitate a longer than usual queue, but once you have made your request and you are in queue the 90 day limit no longer applies - you are considered in the Step-Up process.
If you are still within the 90 days from your original purchase, you can cancel your Step-Up and start a new process yourself. If you are out of the 90 days from your original purchase and you leave the queue, you will not be allowed to start a new Step-Up.

I started my step-up on July 29th, stepping from a 2080 to a 2080 Super and nothing yet. Just for others out there to know. Seems like the cards are getting close to late July applications from the previous posts here.

if only! I would definitely pay the $20 difference! They messaged me on twitter saying they would have stock next week. Just in time for me to not have my GPU when COD get released :(. Wondering if I could preemptively ship my gpu

Question for those who have sent in their card already. Did you send in the card with the original packaging (box) it came with and just wrapped that with some cardboard or something else? Or did you put the card in the original package, then put that box inside another box with more padding? I got the email yesterday to finish the process and I'm at the step of sending it back. It states to use 2 inches of packing material around all sides. So wouldn't it be just fine to send it in the original package since it already has the protection of the black foam padding it came in?

I had the original packaging and the box (somehow) so I used both. It seems like they want the packaging inside a box like how they sent it.
