Heyo,

so my 980Ti died yesterday, was browsing Youtube and it just turned off.
I remember making an account on EVGA back when I first bought it, however I can't see it listed under my Products at the moment (site seems buggy, also keeps redirecting me to Google).
And I can't exactly go to the company that I bought it from as they've belly flopped since I bought it :D
Have never overclocked it and it's never even really gotten hot (the ACX 2.0 design and airflow is dope).
One of my friends mentioned the method of baking it but i'd rather not mess with it like that. I thought I'd ask here in advanced on how to proceed.

I'm not sure what to do now, I'm fairly emotionally attached to my 980 ti. it's gone through some crazy stuff with me. Even played VR while streaming ezpz. Doesn't help that I have a league match coming up soon.. 🙈

I'm hoping you registered your GPU, it should be showing in your products though. If you don't hear anything I would call EVGA.

Alright, I'll contact evga and see if they can help me out! If they say they can't I'll try baking it 🤷
Really don't wanna buy a new gpu just yet..

I think that you will have good luck with EVGA as long as it's under warranty. Also it might be worth trying it in a friends system to try to rule out anything else in your system that could be causing the issue.

Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.

Yeah, tried it out in an old system I had. It sadly had the same issue there. 😭

Sent a ticket/question to the Service department (hope that was the right one).

Will they be able to see the age of it with the serial number? Because honestly I don't know how else to get that info.

serial # is the biggest help  but search your email archive for anything related to the card , for a receipt, purchase date, warranty registered email,,etc...etc...

If you Never registered the Card & can't find documentation ... the Second hand/ Transferable Warranty - starts the day EVGA first shipped the card or their authorized vendor did.

This is why it is important to register & upload the receipt after buying any EVGA part .... later when you Need it, you May not Find it

How have your Confirmed it is the 980Ti & Not say the PSU, MB or CPU ?

yeah, it's confirmed that it's the gpu. tried it in an old system and the same fault happens. the power circuitry on the 980ti is dead.
