Spdif volume control in Win10x64 at the icon the slider is screwy. If I put in at 100 the volume is ok, however if I move the slider to 69 it is far louder and it jumps in tone quality all over as I change it. Like 10 is hollow and 50 is more bassy and the volume is the same. Note: does the same odd behavior in NU control panel in the program.  Note2: Screwing with it for 30 minutes, seems that 65 is the magic number where it sound solid, feels like I am using a old fashion tone dial instead of volume, weird.
Any ideas what is going on in the Nu?

That's the first time I've seen someone report this issue.  I'd try two things.  Power down your system for a few minutes, disconnect the card and power adapter, then reinstall and boot up.  If it's still happening, I'd try removing the drivers and reinstalling.

What are you outputting to? Possibly there is automatic level control at the device the card is connected to...
