Hi, was wondering if you guys can help me solve my overclocks in some games. I want to overclock one card higher than the other but in the Witcher 3 it keeps syncing them. What is the deal? Can anyone help me? Should I use EVGA precision x1? I am currently using MSI afterburner to overclock my 980tis.

Unlink the cards in msi afterburner. If that doesn't fix the problem then they are suppose to be syncing up in sli.

Interesting you say that because I already tried unlinking them and that didn't help. So I guess they are supposed to be synced in some games if not all. I changed the thermal paste on the second sli card and that helped with overclocking. So I am happy camper. :D

Yes this would be the case. In order for SLI to work the clock speeds of the cards in question would need to be synced.
