Well I guest that could be the issue, But I never OC, other then setting it in the XMP 1st profile that all I did not play or set any voltage in the IMCs. Now I can get it to pass 1600mhz and stable anything above that it will crash. I could run it at 2000mhz and 2187mhz but not stable and eventually will crash. kougar, yes is the same PSU. I will try it with CL8, Thanks guys.

If you're running your ram above cpu spec'd speeds then you're overclocking.

Delgado, My own 2400Mhz kit wouldn't go beyond 1800Mhz stable (but that was out-of-the-box, and it was a known Kingston/ASUS compatibility problem that I wasn't aware of at the time). I run it at 1800Mhz CL8 10-10-24-200 1.65v as the board defaulted to CL11 with some absurdly high tRFC value I don't remember just now.

Actually, it just dawned on me... you aren't trying to use a command rate of 1T are you? 2T is the best you're gonna get, but I wonder if your old settings were using 3T or something like that.

Have water, will cool.

Thanks guys for your support on this issue. I guest will be building a new one for my son. In the mean time will run it at 1600mhz. Thanks again.
