Hey people, 
Im wondering, how much more juice in games do i get if i upgrade to rtx 2070 super card from regular gtx 1080? Is it worth it? it will cost me about 300 euro to upgrade.

    I would say it could be 10-15% faster in a number of games. If it is worth it would kind of depend on what game you are playing and the monitor you are using. It wouldn't be worth upgrading if it's to get frames that is above your monitor refresh rate.

    Not much of an upgrade - more closer to sideways slide... 
     
    Not worth it , unless you just have to have Ray tracing effects in a few games at the moment. ?

    using an AOC 27" 1080p with 144hz, mostly playing fps games and on the side AC series. 
     
    My led lights on the asus is defective so im gonna replace it anyhow, so im just wondering how better it is. Was thinking about 2080 super, but after what im reading the difference between 2070 and that one is not much, just the price. is that correct?

    $300 is not a bad price difference to the get the newest stuff.  If you like eye candy and RT, sure it's worth it but if not, you're good with the 1080 for quite some time, especially on a 1080p/144hz screen.

    Thanks for the replies people. ive sold my gtx 1080 for 300 euro with faulty led (fan front) and ordered myself a brand new EVGA rtx 2070 8gb super xc card for 600 euro with 2 games with the purchase. So im looking forward to mount this lovely card vertical on my cablemod bracket.. ;)
