Hello,

i got problems with my 1080ti kingpin gpu :(
the gpu crashes during games and gpu stress tests. My computer doesnt crash ... its just the gpu. The screen goes to a random color and after a few sec you hear a windows
disconnecting sound.... the games are still running i just cant see anything and i have to power off my pc to do a restart. the card seems fine to run on low resources game that only needs like 30% of the gpu but anything more demanding this problem happens.
It got worse and worse over time. It first started with a few games and now its almost with anything i want to play....

Things i tried:
- use the card without any overclocks --> it still crash after ~1min of fumark
- deinstalled the drivers ( in safe mode ) and reinstall it --> did that 3 times already and it didint change anything
- make sure that there is no other things on the computer that might could crash it ( removed relatek audio driver and such )
- check my psu --> it runs fine no problem there
- no virus
- tried the diff bios modes --> no sucess

My Specs:
Cpu  Intel 8770k @ 5.1ghz
Motherboard Asus Maximus X Formula
Gpu  Evga 1080ti Kingpin
PSU Dark Power Pro 11 1200 watt

What could it be? Is the gpu defect?
I bought the card on 2/17/2018 viva evga shop can i RMA it?
If yes which replacment i will get? I dont see evga selling any 1080ti kingpins with hydro copper.

Thank you :)

just try it in another computer, that should confirm it. if you don't have another computer or know someone with a rig to test your card, take it to a computer shop or geek squad and have them test it.

one other thing to try.  back down the cpu. 5.1ghz on that processor might be messing with things.

It can run stable on 5.2 but i set it to 5.1 already and it doesnt crash during cpu tests.
I cant rlly test it in a other system since mine is fully watercooled and ehre in germany we dont rlly have places where they check things if u bring it to them.
    All other compoments works fine.

EVGA offerd me a RMA so i gonan take this one because the gpu was working fine when i bought it and it suddenly started to crash randomly at some point and got worse over time.

    THANK YOU anyways.
