Thank you! -- I have some upgrades coming in soon. I picked up another 3 of the Corsair SP120 fans to fill out all of the open fan slots and a RTX 2070 to replace the RX 580's.

Looks pretty good man, nice and clean. How's Crossfire treating you on the RX580s? Last time I used Crossfire was with a pair of RX480s and support was spotty at best. Same with SLI unfortunately it's just not what it used to be.

Haha... Yeah, I had to purchase a new case, video card and CPU cooler due to the case. I actually have 2 extra AIO's laying around but neither of them fit this new case. One is a H90 and the other is a H115i, both utilize 140mm fans and the case needs a 120mm set-up. Bad planning on my part.

    Thank you!

Yeah, I feel like they've been killing SLI/CFX support for the last few years, my last decent multi-GPU set-up was with a pair of Titan Xp's. I spent about 5 hours trying to figure it out on the RX 580's. I actually returned them and purchased a refurbished RTX 2070 for a little bit more because I gave up on troubleshooting. The RX 580's look really good in the case but when you enable crossfire, it turns off the second card until you get into a game and actually start loading up the GPU. Even then, it only runs the second GPU around 50-60% load... I'll have 180+ FPS in a game but it still feels clunky.

Here is a pic of that Titan Xp set-up... lasted like 2 weeks before I decided it was not worth the $2600 and returned them lol

LOL A GTX 1080 as your PhysX card? Bit overkill for the 5 or 6 games left that support dedicated PhysX acceleration no?

Also just noticed you don't have an exhaust fan in the new build. Even though your case is well ventilated I'd still stick a 120mm fan in the back to accelerate the removal of the hot air.

hahaha... Yeah, it was purely for the picture. I was never able to get Windows to recognize the GTX 1080 with the Titan Xp's hooked up. Was trying to pad those benchmarks  -- It's been a while, but I think it was a limitation of my motherboard.

I actually just installed some 120mm fans, one exhaust and two on top. BUT I am going to have to return them. I thought I bought the correct fans, I went with the iCUE RGB SP120 fans and found out the ones on the case are actually RGB PRO and do not work with the originals... So only half of them light up. Thought I was saving money and getting a good deal, only to find out I got the wrong model lol

All right... So I woke up Saturday morning to find my screens littered with artifacts from the GTX 2070. That's going back and I went up to Microcenter to pick up a Radeon 5700 XT. So far it's looking like a pretty good change.

Hey lovely build you have there, love the colors and great GPU choice too!

And if you want me to add this build in the EVGA MODS RIGS list make a post here :)

Shame about your RTX 2070 but  artifacts & space invaders was a well known issue with the RTX series GPU's.
The RX 5700 won't let you down it's faster as well and it's image quality is superb I heard nothing but good reviews of that card

Speed won't change image quality, radeons have very high quality parts on their PCB's Steve Burke from gamers Nexus did plenty tear downs  pointing this out as well.
Image quality is actually better on a Radeon than a GeForce due to the far improved  2D & 3D Filters they have plus all the high grade components as well as the improved soldering quality .

GeForce is opted more at speed by lowering image quality with things like DLSS or even worse things AMD is more opted at the best stable performance with the best image quality and preventing image quality loss pretty much how the 3dfx Voodo3 worked and the Matrox Millennium G400 series & Parhelia series of cards many years back.

For gamers Image quality doesn't oftne play a role and Geforce cards just have a more well known name only for those that stand open to other and better designed optiosn only they find out the actual truth of it all anyway. I have had over 800 graphics cards mainly from 3dfx, ATi/AMD, NVIDA, S3 & Matrox allw ere great all had ups and downs but the best to me were Matrox, S3, 3dfx & ATi/AMD by a great margin, when image quality came to play.

I am very sure  the OP will be more than pleased with their new Navi GPU :)

More testing will happen tonight. It honestly felt better than my RTX 2080 for the small bit of testing I did. We will see though, I really want to play a few games of PUBG before I think about putting this card in my main rig.

Yeah, luckily it never effected my RTX 2080. I REALLY wanted to snag a Sapphire Nitro RX 5700 XT but they are extremely rare... So I had to settle for the Power Color Red Dragon RX 5700 XT. So far it's looking like the best deal in the $400 range. It sure makes Nvidia feel way overpriced.

Only got a few games in last night to test out the RX 5700 XT... So far the experience was nowhere near as smooth as my RTX 2080 when it comes down to PUBG. Overwatch was decent... Funny thing... I'm going to just try and find a good deal on a RTX card at this point... I was pretty happy with the Gigabyte until it started to artifact.

Or sell the 5700XT you have now and grab a Sapphire Nitro + RX 5700 XT or a Power Color Red Devil these beat the 2070 Super out of the box, and come even close to 2080 Super performance  :)

U to you tho  I am done wasting money in a company that offers the same performance for 200+ more lol

I'll be installing the 5700 XT on my main rig tonight and give it a fair comparison. I was just not very pleased with how it did on my back-up rig.

Well, I finally got in a solid 4 hours of gaming on the Power Color Red Dragon RX 5700XT. It really fits the price range it is in... For Blizzard games it did extremely well at 2K, possibly better than my RTX 2080. For PUBG, it was not that great, it started off strong and towards the end of a match it would drop quite a bit... It also had some weird lock-up situations. Overall, the aesthetics of this card is the main reason i'm returning it. I think the lock-ups are probably driver related and will be ironed out in the future... I considered the XFX THICC Ultra version of the RX 5700XT since it's on par with all of the other high end ones and it looks decent. Right now there really isn't the option to get a Sapphire and that's what it would take for me to stay with AMD. Even the Pulse would have been fine. I'm now going to give the RTX 2060 Super a try. I should hopefully have it before this weekend.

These were fresh Windows 10 Pro installs on a secondary drive while testing on each PC to avoid messing with my primary settings. They were given a fair chance, so far this RTX 2060 Super is killin' it... Pretty happy with the change. I have seen around a 10-20% performance increase over the RX 5700XT. HIGHLY recommend the RTX 2060 Super.
