Hi. Just upgraded to Windows 10 Pro from Win 7 pro 64-bit.
I keep getting Windows crashes to blue screen when I try SLI mode...
Also I hear some noise from PC before that happens, like clicking sounds for few times...
I don't have any errors in DirectX diagnostics. Or other things...
Everything loads fine. But as soon as I start the game, in few seconds boom blue screen... with msg Critical process died....
Any utilities to try to test video cards for defects?
I tried 3Dmark 11 Demo. Also crashed my PC...
I got latest NVIDIA drivers from 8/27
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
I7 CPU
16Gb RAM

I have no problems with hard drive or Ram....
thanks.

Update...
I disabled in Nvidia settings use of 2nd Nvidia card and it seems solved the crashes. (OpenGL, Phys...)
I guess it might be bad.
When I tried to use 3Dmark to use 2 GPUs it crashed. When only 1 it worked fine...

They worked in SLI Before you switched to Win 10 ?   --> Drivers could be the issue

Did you do an In-place-Upgrade or A Clean Install  of Win 10 ?

An issues showing in Device Manager ?

Try each card on its own and see if you can determine that one behaves different than the other.

ASRock Z77 • Intel Core i7 3770K • EVGA GTX 1080 • Samsung 850 Pro • Seasonic PRIME 600W Titanium
My EVGA Score: 1546 • Zero Associates Points • I don't shill

Never used in SLI in Win7. 1st card was enough for all games in Ultra high settings. Just used 2nd card for phys, etc... While hardware has SLI bridge on it.

A clean install of Win 10

>> An issues showing in Device Manager ?
No issues. Everything shows ok.

Only noticed that 2nd card temperatures higher than 1st.
1st card while used in game goes up to 60 C
while 2nd card also heats up between 40 and 65 C....
Also might be fan problems... because 2nd card was used around 5-15%...

Could be a bad sli bridge, or a faulty sli finger.

I thought if the problem with SLI (Connection) the Nvidia driver would never show SLI connection.
Or allow to use it...
Does it requires only EVGA bridge? Because I have SLI cable for NVidia Cards used on my hardware... (Just 1 connection instead of 2)
As far as I read in Nvidia specs. 1 connection is enough, bridge would make it a bit faster...

It doesn't require only an evga bridge. You could still enable sli with a faulty bridge.

I finally found the problem. It was power supply. It seems the thing was powering both cards and my Hard Drive. so when performance goes up to 100% it seem to lose power to my HD. As a result my system was crashing...
While it was still 500 Watt...
Got new 850 watt power supply and no more problems. Including SLI... No more crashes also...

A 500 watt PSU is well under what you needed to run SLI. (read the specs for using a singe GPU then add the power draw of a second GPU) That was the issue. Not a hardware failure. Fortunately nothing was damaged in the process.
