Straight from the horse's mouth, new Intel chipsets are coming: driver documents from Intel demonstrate the existence of the unannounced, upcoming chipsets. AnandTech has a very brief news article:

Who knows if Z370 / 390 will be compatible with the next generation of Intel desktop processors. But regardless, I'm sure the new chipset is bound to warm the hearts of motherboard manufacturing executives everywhere!

it's inevitable that Intel will surface with a new chipset as AMD has the new X570 to compete with
I have to find another CPU if I want to use my MSI X570-A Pro as my R5 2400G is not deemed adequate

Intel will remember 400 chipset because lowest profit, PCI-E 3.0

If someone decide to wait better moment for Intel PC maybe PCI-E 5.0, DDR5 and USB 4.0 will be available on same chipset in middle of 2021.

Don't be surprised if the new chipset isn't compatible with current CPUs.

I would be more surprised if it was compatible with current CPUs.
