Z390 Dark PCIe speed only x4

Hello, so i noticed that my gpu is running only at pcie x4. Should there be in bios option for pcie because i cant find it?

Pc
Z390 Dark
I9-9900k
Rtx 2080ti ftw3
2x8gb Corsair Vengeance 4000MHz
2x Samsung 960evo 500gb (does this limit pcie?)
2tb hdd
Corsair RM1000x
Custom loop

    I tried to upload picture of my bios but i doesnt allow me. I did find that pcie page and there were two options but none of them is pcie.

    Graphics settings -> graphics configuration. That is now on auto and other two options is IGFX and PEG. There is no pcie anywhere.

    Only if they are connected via pci-e slots using adpaters. Your gpu should be installed into the very first pci-e slot closest to the cpu socket.

    I was using riser cable also so that might be the problem. I did empty my loop and try gpu directly to mobo.

    Yeah problem solved. It was that riser cable.

    defective riser cables happen --> Glad it was the cable & not your GPU
     
     
    FYI: when bending riser cables, use a marker or other item to get a smooth radius - as the cables can fail if bent sharply - like at 90

    Hello, I ran into a similar problem with a riser cable , 3080 and Z390 dark, it didn't like it. Freezing , restarting etc. I could have damaged the cable when I was trying to install it. It's the cable that came with the case. Cooler Master C700M.
