ManuelGuzmanNVOur latest GeForce Game Ready driver 436.02 packs some big software optimizations for Apex Legends, Battlefield V, Forza Horizon 4, Strange Brigade and World War Z, which increase framerates by up to 23%.

Also included are several new beta features based on feedback and requests from our community -- an Ultra-Low Latency mode for faster input response, an Integer Scaling display mode for pixel art games, and a new GeForce Experience Freestyle sharpen filter. Lastly, our new driver brings support for 3 new G-SYNC Compatible gaming monitors, and day-0 game support for Remnant: From The Ashes.

I prefer driver threads with actual effort put into conveying the changes in them.

You might as well change a single Thread that has been Pinned and just change the Topic Title and Info in the First Post to the Current Driver then.

OK...here is how to fix "optional" install.  Open setup.cfg with notepad or whatever app you want to use for text.  Then search for userSelectable.  You will notice it says FALSE.  Change to TRUE.  Now you can unselect GeForce Experience if that option is what you want...

OK...here is how to fix "optional" install.  Open setup.cfg with notepad or whatever app you want to use for text.  Then search for userSelectable.  You will notice it says FALSE.  Change to TRUE.  Now you can unselect GeForce Experience if that option is what you want...

You should get a BR for your Post, Thank you.

I just downloaded this driver from Nvidia's site about 30 minutes ago.  No problems.  Did you try directly from Nvidia or somewhere elses?

Just got word directly from NVIDIA that they have pulled the driver to fix the Geforce experience installer issue.

Nvidia are correcting the problematic file, the downloads are currently offline.

Makes sense.  Before I came here to the forums, I thought I just forgot to uncheck GFE when I did my install.  Had to go back and uninstall it.  At least now you know what the problem was...

I wonder how many users even install Geforce Experience... There never was a positive reason for me to install it, but plenty of reasons not to.

Next time you communicate with nVidia please tell them the latest driver continues to force enable Gsync. I don't use Gsync and this driver will enable Gsync despite Gsync being off in NCP.

When Gsync self enables and you go into NCP, Gsync is shown as not enabled. You have to then enable Gsync by selecting it and apply, then deselect Gsync and apply again. Then after shut down and opening BFV it will enable itself again. This happens about every other time you start the game.

Other than that the new drive seems to be alright. It seems to have darkened the graphics just a little.

Two other drivers in the past have done this after Gysnc became "free."

I pray this will alleviate the horrible stutters I get from BFV since it's unplayable most of the time.  Had to switched to DX11 and that seems to have lessened them.
