THQ Nordic has announced that the publisher's next Saints Row game is in "deep development", with Volition taking the helm. The last main series Saints Row game, Saints Row 4, was released in 2013, which was followed up by the expansion Gat out of Hell in 2015. Since then Volition has released Agents of Mayhem, which launched in 2017 to mixed reviews. 

Furthermore, THQ Nordic has confirmed that the company has "at least two major AAA-releases" planned before March 2021, suggesting that the company's new Saints Row game will release within this timeframe. 
 
No other info is available at this time.

    As long as they release quality games who cares? Only problem with long development between games is when they turn around and release something like Duke Nukem Forever.

    I'm excited for this. I always preferred the goofy-ness of Saints Row to the seriousness of GTA.

    That last Saints Row was massively weird., outrageous times ... I got it for my older son and watched him play.

    Saint's Row formula for income they might as well give away the core game free and charge $200 for all the DLC and item mall items. They've been horrid for DLC stacking and then coming back a year later selling the GOTY edition for $5.
