When installing the latest EVGA X1, at some point Windows automatically reboots without any prompt or warning. Is this intentional?
Normally one could expect a screen at the end of the installation with a checkbox to reboot the PC to be able to use the software.

Yes, and it runs just fine.

It's been doing this since I can't remember when...when it came out of beta maybe? Or when I bought the Kingpin? I'm sure it does it on any Zen2 rig I tried, r5 3600, 3700X, 3900X, X570 both Aorus and MSI.
If you're fast enough and have other programs running at that moment, windows will come up with the screen that some apps still need to be closed and you can cancel the reboot (but other processes will be already closed by then so you'd need to reboot anyways) but after I quickly cancelled the reboot, there was a screen from X1 stating "start X1 now" and finish the installer.

Was this a Fresh Install or a Update to an older version?

I wonder if the timing was right and the OS restated from installing updates.

I did notices that after installing this version just now it started a DX Install and it was already installed.

This happened to me as well, using 1.1.9. I noticed something to do with "Installing DirectX" and then bam, Windows is shutting down.. unfortunately I lost a little bit of work.
