how much does EVGA charge for EAR collateral?

been seeing alot of conflicting things regarding the temporary hold EVGA puts on your credit card for EAR Collateral, some say full MSRP and other say only around 2 dollars. how much is it exactly?

    The Ear will have no charge associated to it as this is only an authorization to confirm the card is active.
     
    The Standard Cross Ship will have a full MSRP collateral charge that will be returned once the product is shipped to EVGA for RMA processing. Please see full information about the RMA services we offer in the link I have provided below.
