Latest precision update appears to have borked something with my 2080 ti ftw3. No longer have any LED control and all sensors are blank...tried to rollback but issue persists.
Edit: Also appears to think I have two fans?

Anyone having issues with the Frame Rate Limiter? I am setting mine to 97 FPS, but in any game it seems to lock it at 59 or 60 no matter what. I was trying to get rid of an old version of nvidia inspector, but this seems to be totally broken for the last 2 or 3 versions. Anyone know why this may be occuring? I am running on an evga 2080ti XC, newest drivers.
I noticed something of the sort also. my monitor is 60Hz so I set it to 65 fps maximum. what I sometimes see is that the gpu load is like 50 or 60% but I am having 45 or 50 fps. it is not a bottleneck from cpu since I have a 6700K overclocked to 4500Mhz and cpu usage is no more than 60%. any ideas what could this be?

since I am relatively new to this forum and not wanting to be repetitive here, but does anyone over at EVGA reads these complaints/reports from us users?
these issues are not isolated cases, lots of problems from different people, and I wonder the many more people that do no even notice these things and have their cards running very poorly without noticing.
not acceptable at all.

That was my first thought too. Unfortunately said that my card was incompatible.
Shutdown your pc. Unplug psu cable from wall. Hold case power on button for 30 seconds. Plug psu cable back into wall & boot the pc. See if that fixes it.

Had to roll back to 0.4.4.0
0.4.8.0 kept shutting off the fans until I hit 80'C then they'd kick on. Changing the fan curves didn't help any...

Today my custom fan profiles were deleted again on its own. I probably just leave them on default for now.

As mentioned before, a lot of problems can likely be resolved by following some very basic guidelines.
- When installing a new version always uninstall, reboot, run CCleaner (it will clear out stuff that gets missed), and then install new version.
- If you notice any issues, shut down computer, unplug (or click switch OFF on PSU), hold down the power button for 30 seconds, plug back in (or click on swtich), and boot computer. What this does is discharge the system and clears non volatile memory. I've fixed countless peoples computers by doing this.
- Try setting CPU and Memory clocks/voltages to default, disable XMP, and see if the problem persists. Quite often, unstable overclocks may seem stable, but a simple driver change or change in power load can be enough to make a system you thought was stable, begin having issues.
- With software like this, never install a new version directly over the one you're currently using.
- Try disabling your antivirus, especially if its anything other than windows defender.
- Set performance in nVidia control panel to "Maximum performance". Do the same in power options in Windows settings.
One thing to note, if there are people having no problems with the same version with the same card, 9 times out of 10 its user error in some way.

Oddness. I installed the latest version, and my oc scanner still doesn`t look like it should as per the new layout. Looks like the old oc scanner.

Could you add a feature to show that the program is doing something? I'm running a VF curve scan and their is little user feedback to show that it is still "working," aside from the scan button still grayed out. maybe make the current dot blink when its testing that setting on the VF curve? it just feels like I am sitting here watching a loading wheel spin.

Same here. They did work after the initial install etc. But as of today I am having to manually reset everything after boots. Should have stayed with my earlier version that just worked.

For me PX1 0.4.8.0 works fine (saving settings etc....) but cpu usage is back to 2,5%-4,0% after windows 10 1903 last update (August 30, 2019—KB4512941 (OS Build 18362.329)). Would be cool if they investigate more about it.

Because features of PX1 still don't work. It isn't perfect for the new RTX cards it was made for. I'm sure once it's solid they'll work on more backwards compatibility with older cards If I was on a 10 series or older card you honestly couldn't pay me to use PX1 over XOC. I don't know why so many people are so eager to.

Oh, my God, why you can't make normal software? Why in 2019 you not have a checkpoint in application to "close in tray"? Why if your software falls coolers on the video card stop and then spin when the card goes 90 + degrees? Why?

Try a power flush. Shut down PC. Unplug from power supply. Hold PC power button in for 30 seconds. Plug back in and start it up.

I had already did that and the problem persists, I went to the extreme of a full clean install, formatted my computer due to this and no luck. this software is pure junk. this is no user responsability due to not knowing what they are doing, if other software works for everybody and this one does not, it is software fault. there are many people complaining about it. EVGA, clean your software once and for all, make it work. how much longer is it necessary for this? is this asking too much?

Hi! Jacob, i cant use Precision X1 on my W8.1 OS, i have a KP 2080Ti Card, and want to use the EVGA software, for have sense on the MEM amd PWN temperature, any solution?
Error: Precision X1 has stopped working *never start the program*
