Is it normal for Flow Control to display incorrect CPU temperatures for a Ryzen CPU?

I'm running a Ryzen 5 2600x and Flow Control displays my temps at 93C. However on Core Temp 1.14 i'm seeing 44C, Ryzen Master displays the same 44C temp.

Sadly it's been broken for years but they don't give a crap.
Best version is 2.0.8 and you will see temps that are 10C lower than they really are so you will have to adjust your cooling fan curve to compensate for EVGA's complete and utter disdain for their customers.

It's actually quite funny when you consider how easy this would be to fix, yet they don't.
And yet they expect to compete with Corsair, NZXT etc.

I would recommend you return it while you still can and opt for another option as EVGA won't help you as long as you are on Ryzen

ehh, not planning on returning it. I just keep Core Temp loaded to monitor the temps. i like the EVGA cooler enough, just sucks that the software isn't compatible. Also i won it in a giveaway from the weekly Twitch EVGA stream. Actually, both my GPU's, my PSU, and AIO were all won items from the Joy of MSpaint giveaways.

y3ea if you want more accurate temps for ryzen you need to download Ryzen Master software from amd. I freaked at first when I installed ryzen and evga's flow control said my cpu was 120C idle  . I was very shocked my pc didn't shut down haha but found about Ryzen Master  and that has helped me get best cpu temps reading/ I wouldn't uninstall the flow control though. I am also waiting for the next tech that will crack down on Ryzen's temps.

my bf had corsair CL with his intel cpu and  it  sat at 60C idle. he looked up the software for  corsair and was shocked they didn't bother with updating it for years. We both upgraded our pcs . He has the latest ryzen though .while I only have the ryzen 7 2700x. So Far  flow has kept my temps at 50C. not like my old amd sadly my old amd fx  which went to 4.7 ghz idled at 35C with evga's cl.
