In all honesty, it's not necessary. Given that Intel decided to stick with their FIVR (fully integrated voltage regulator) on die the motherboard and its features run and speak for themselves. Illya and Vince have a thorough and fantastic write-up for the board on XDevs, which is all you'll ever need.

Thread to be removed in 5 4 3 2 Lol, I was this short from doing precisely that. But love the conspiracy theories going wild. Truth is simple. E299 was done before this OC Lab was created, E399 shortly after, that's it. Also I was late on finished E399 guide on xDevs.com, so sticky thread was easy way to get folk desired tools first. IMO, if somebody need babyguiding for overclocking and stickies to find already published information and guide for E299, well, you'd need do better homework to have successful overclocking. One thing that I like about enthusiast community - is the "treasure hunt", meaning effort digging those bits of info how to do things right. So didn't feel like duplicating same information over and increasing entropy by making more sticky threads. I still update the guide with new bits from time to time, and having more places to edit and modify info can make it tricky.
