Hi,

so I am trying to figure our how to get Precision auto started with windows as a non-admin user. My default user does not have admin rights for security reasons.

Usually you solve this by creating a task in the windows task planner but I cant get it to work. Here is what I did

-Made sure the task runs "with highest privileges"
-selected my special admin user as user to run the program
-as action I set the programm path to "C:\Program Files\EVGA\Precision X1\PrecisionX_x64.exe"
-and "start in (optional)" to C:\Program Files\EVGA\Precision X1\

thats how it usually works with other programs but if I run the task I get the Error "0xE0434352"

Event Log says: .NET Runtime Error 1026 (System.Threading.WaitHandleCannotBeOpenedException) and Aplication Error 1000 (KERNELBASE.dll)

Any ideas or different solutions to get Precision auto started?

Thanks

    Welcome to the Forum
What Version of PX1 are you Running?
What NVIDIA Driver Version are you Running?
You may not have a choice due to NVIDIA's new Security Settings on their Drivers.
Setting up Precision X1 to Run as administrator, Post Driver 430.39

    Thanks.
All newest but I dont get what the driver has to do with it. Its about starting a program with task planner. Thats like double clicking but automated. Sometimes you need special syntax to do this which I think is the problem here and I was hoping someone already found out.
