I know this is a long shot, but had a chip blow out on my EVGA 970 card - EVGA part # 04G-P4-2978-KR - can anyone from EVGA provide me with part numbers???   Card is 9 months out of warranty, and I can do the repair myself if I get the right replacement parts.

The chip in question is the light grey chip just right of the chip at c233 seen below.   I may also need the part numbers for the chip at c233, and the small black one just above the blown chip.

If you cannot get this fixed PM about a GTX 980 Hydro Copper Card, Yes you would have to create a Water Loop for it.
The only cards I have on Air is the GTX 690 and GTX 780.

Thanks for the offer, but save it for someone more in need

I don't run water loops anyway, just an off-the-shelf all-in-one water cooler.  If I could afford to go the custom loop route, I would just get a 2070 instead of the 1660.

EVGA tech support was no help on part #'s, so I may be out of luck  unless I find a dead one listed on ebay for dirt cheap...
