Back NVMe installed, the Grizzly heatsink manages to clear the PCB below which is good.

They sure are, thanks!  Got the second NVMe in, got a 2mm 3w/mk thermal pad on the bottom and a 1mm 6w/mk on top of the NVMe.  Waiting on the GPU and CPU now and should be good to go soon hopefully.

Small update, just need to get a 9400F.  I got a CAT5e 90 degree RJ45 adapter, DP 90 degree adapter and USB 3.0 90 degree adapter to help with the IO cables up top.  I replaced all the stock pads on the 1660Ti XC Ultra with 12w/mk 2mm and 3mm Gelid Extreme thermal pads and the new thermal paste is NT H1.  These upgrades should help cool the card very well.  I got the 92mm Gentle Typhoon fan sleeved up and installed on the L9x65.  Dust covers have been installed all over the unused ports.  Hope to get this up and running soon.

Thanks!  Here is a small update, got the CZ backplate in and switched to a 32GB 3000MHz C16 kit of LPX.  Though with the choice of the 9400F I won't be able to use the XMP profiles unfortunately.

Good stuff, I was between a shift X and O-11 Dynamic when doing mine, I still want to do a lil media center pc in the shift.  Keep us posted on temps when you get the parts in.

Np, I ended up returning the L9x65 and getting a bequite! Shadow Rock LP which is a more significant CPU cooler, it barely fits, and just clears the VRM heatsink on the board.  I was going to have this unit up and running but, out of the blue the SF600 just died only after a couple hours of use, I filed for RMA and hope to get the unit back soon.

    I have the same case.
Thanks for the idea of the 90' connectors for the mainboard io plate

Thank you very much and NP!  Yeah I came up with the 90 degree connectors as the DP cable would not clear the top cover.  I got all the adapters off amazon.

Thank you!  I get my RMA back today in fact, hope to get this up soon, waiting on 1x GT fan as the Shadow Rock uses a 120mm fan.  Also I will be replacing the thermal paste on this unit and my Primo system with HY P13 thermal paste, which comes in at 13.4w/mk beating out Grizzly Kryonaut on paper, should be very interesting to see how it compares to NT H1.

    Thanks for the update

Got it up and running!  It is working well, the 1660Ti boosts all the way up 1980MHz, and gets pretty warm, but its an air cooled card, in a very compact case.  I recorded a max GPU temp of 80c, the CPU which is a i5 9400F clocked in at 4.1GHz on all cores according too MSi Afterburner, it hit a max temp of 49C so far, the Shadow Rock LP is doing great work along with the GT fans blasting everything with air.  RAM XMP is working great with the RAM at 3000MHz.  I am waiting on the HY P13 paste to come in so I can delid the 9400F and put a Copper IHS on it to try and shave off a few more C and a hopefully a few C off the GPU die with the paste.  Sorry for no photo's as I need to get some decent ones.  In August Phanteks told me they will have the Mesh upgrade panels for the Shift cases, and those should help a lot with airflow, as the sides and glass really inhibit fresh air from getting into the case.

Sorry for the long delay, here is the setup!  System has been running great.  Been using it a lot as I switched my Primo system over to a Luxe 2.  Have 3X PC's on this desk

Upgraded the GPU from a 1660Ti to a 2060, went with the PNY 2060 XLR8 OC single fan card, replaced the stock thermal pads and paste with 6-12w/mk thermal pads and 16w/mk Nanogrease for the die.  I designed a custom finned backplate for the GPU as it did not come with one.  Had it made out of 6061 aluminum, going to use 8w/mk 2mm Grizzly thermal pads with it.  I added some short fins to the backplate to add some surface area.  Also upgraded from the 9400F to the 9600K and to Teamgroup 4000MHz Xtreem ram, which can without a hitch on XMP hit 4000MHz, going to try and tighten the timings down.  Changed the Shadow Rock LP to a Scythe Big Shuriken 3.

Done for now.  Swapped the EK backplate for the aquacomputer kryographics one and installed a 6mmx70mm heatpipe in it, managed to knock 5c off the GPU load temps.
