Anybody that went water willing to part with their stock backplate and baseplate (front?) for their FTW3?

    I was able to keep my backplate as the EK Waterblock for these allows you to use the stock bsckplste.

    It is very unlikely for folks to give up their stock cooling components, even when they use water cooling, because it risks voiding warranty since the card can not be returned to stock if an RMA is necessary.

    Best bet is to check eBay to see if there are any users that are selling the components or a known broken card that you could harvest the spare pieces from.

    Thanks for the response guys. Scarlet, I hear you. Maybe that's why I haven't come across them :)   I've been checking eBay for a while, but thought I'd hit a couple forums and see if anything hit.

    I was able to purchase 2 complete air coolers and back plate assemblies off of ebay... I'd check there once a week till one shows up.
