Asetek Im Hit!
I can check on that for you. Send in the hounds if you don't hear anything back in a few days. And I make no promises. However, I know it's very very...

.... Corsair H150i Pro on sale right now for Prime Day

Any word?

I'm waiting to find out the shipping day, which I may know by tomorrow.  From there, I can give you a better answer.  As noted before, we're pretty close to having them.

Thank you for the update; any info that can be shared about Gen5 or Gen6 pump design?

Same as our other CLC pumps.

One last question; do your CLC's require your flow control software to function, or can pump/fan be controlled by the bios (e.g. Gigabyte Smart Fan Control or MSI's equivalent)??

If no software is installed, the pump will control the pump/fan speed based on coolant temperature.  I cannot honestly recall peoples' experience trying to control the pump via BIOS fan control.  I can tell you that if you plan on using the software, the BIOS fan header should be set to 100% to ensure that the USB bus is properly detected by Windows.

If you don't plan on using the software, then you can certainly experiment with raising/lowering fan headers.  If you want full control over the fans without software, then you'll probably want to plug the fans directly into the motherboard or a fan controller.

See, now I wonder why EVGA (or anyone, for that matter) doesn't make an 420 radiator.  And no, I don't mean one that lights up a joint for you!

(no, really, I find it odd that I can certainly go custom for 140x3=420, but zero AIO solutions.  Given that 280's seem to performance mostly on par with 360's for AIO's - why not push it further with 420?  "I'd buy THAT for a dollar!"  Well, more like $200 or so)

It's probably because it would be overkill for the AIO market. 280 and 360 are both great cooling options. In fact it's probably at the point of overkill for just a CPU since temps wouldn't really lower that much while it takes a pretty large case to have room for 420. Also at that point the market kind of switches away from people who want a pre-built AIO to people who want a custom loop. I do fully expect that we will see a 420 AIO someday if the market demand exists or some company wants to push the envelope at a trade show with a product that may or might not come to market.

The bolded part is probably the most important part of that post.  We looked at doing a 360 early on, but there was no market demand for it.  Everything was focused on 240 and 280 (280 especially), but things and consumer preference have changed.  New CPUs need even more cooling than previous ones, so people start looking for bigger AIO options.

Expect the CLC 360 before the end of the month.
