After spending the last 10 years of using on board audio as my mainstay source of sound, I was excited to see the new EVGA NU Audio. I purchased one recently directly from EVGA and waited for the opportunity to install it in my custom EVGA themed PC.
The packaging it comes in is very unique, and beholden the quality that EVGA applies to their top tier products.
Once it was properly powered up, I slipped on my Sennheiser PC360's on and noticed a deeper richer sound immediately when audio started to play.
I have never experienced audio so clear and rich on a PC before. I quickly clicked on a youtube music video to see how it sounded after making a few tweaks to the NU audio control panel.
After finding a satisfactory volume and audio adjustment I fired up a round of Escape from Tarkof. After the first gun shot, I immediately turned down the volume..
My wife walked in to the room and said she could clearly hear the game sounds from the next room. 
I smiled.

    It’s great that it sounds amazing but keep in mind headphones shouldn’t be heard a room away. Hearing damage can take away the ability to hear the fine details that a card like the NU Audio brings out.

    Oh trust me I quickly adjusted the levels to a comfortable position.
    The problem I have is my wife has such good hearing she can hear a roach fart.

    I've owned the PC360's, and they are definitely a great all-around headphone/headset.  Fairly easy to drive, solid audio for music, movies, and gaming.  Most important, however, they are amazingly comfortable.  I always considered them to be great earmuffs when it got cold where I used to live. 
     
    I'm happy you're enjoying them with the NU Audio Card, since those are great headphones no matter what you need.
