I go through chairs every year and a half sometimes two years when lucky 90% of the time it's the cheap finish that starts peeling off that annoys me the other 10% is phenomics. The later is easily replaced, but when it looks like crap it's gotta go.
I wonder if leather would be longer lasting well maintained?
I have real leather in the living room/HT and they seem to last a good 10 years.
Doing the math one good real leather chair may well be worth it at $650
    6.66 chairs in 10 at say 150 each = $1000
My last one cost 225 and lasted 2 and now needs replaced
Not sure I want TT all over it though, but they are good looking.

I have to agree the price is a bit high unless it lasts a long time. Mostly it’s because you can get a pretty good chair for half that price. Of course with people having monitors that cost four times as much I do feel it could have a market even at a high price if it’s far superior in comfort, ergonomics and lasts longer.
