New Updates for H370/B360 Motherboards today:

BIOS 1.07 (H370 Stinger) / 1.07 (B360 Micro Gaming)
  • Update CPU Microcode
  • Fix minor issues*
*Updates/corrects fan header information in the BIOS, and fixes an issue where users could not reset a BIOS password.

Windows Installation
  • Download the correct .zip file below for your motherboard:
         111-CS-E371-KR - EVGA H370 Stinger - v1.07
         112-CS-E365-KR - EVGA B360 Micro Gaming - v1.07
  • First go into your BIOS and load defaults, save and exit
  • Close all open programs.
  • Go into the folder where you unzipped this package and double-click update.bat
  • Press Y to start the flash process
  • DO NOT TURN OFF POWER OR RESET DURING THE FLASH PROCESS
  • After the flashing is finished, the system will automatically shut down. Then power on again and go into BIOS to setup.
  • NOTE: If flash box immediately closes after flash attempt, the flash may need to be ran from a CMD prompt with administrator privileges or DOS version.

BIOS Installation
  • Extract the contents of .zip file to USB flash drive (must be formatted as FAT32)
  • Reboot the machine and go into the system BIOS
  • From the BIOS, navigate to the Save & Exit tab and open "Select BIOS File."
  • Select the .bin file you wish to flash.

Please let me know if anyone runs into problems with this update.  Thanks!

I updated two B360's via USB flash drive and reset all BIOS parameters. Went well with no glitches.

Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.

I fixed R0 CPU's 4K UHD BD playback issue (Advanced Protected Audio/Video Path (GPU) error)
by modifying EVGA H370 Stinger's BIOS's Intel ME to 12.0.47.1524.
(BIOS 1.07's Intel ME is 12.0.0.1062)

With the modified Intel ME (12.0.47.1524) and the latest Intel ME driver (1933.12.0.1301) & UHD630 driver (7372), 4K UHD BD can be played on R0 CPU properly.

Hope EVGA can release an official BIOS update of Intel ME instead of my work.

I'll have our team look into this.  There are some use scenarios that go untested, unfortunately.  Please send me a PM if you run into this sort of an issue in the future.

Edit: Sorry, looks like I sent this off to be tested and we just dropped the ball on it.  My bad.

No rush, it being the holidays, but is there a plan to release this update more broadly, or wait for the Plundervolt fix to be incorporated? Thanks!

Mine got bricked with the v1.08
Link to my thread here for further description of what happend:

    [/link]

Side question: What is the best RAM speed to get for H370 Stinger motherboard? 2666Mhz? Or would it benefit from higher clockspeed, let's say 3000Mhz or 3200Mhz? It says it supports 2667Mhz+ (The "+" I don't quiet understand)

I noticed the H370 is currently at a great price from EVGA store right now. I am wondering - if I purchase it, will it support 9th gen coffee lake out of the box? Looking at the BIOS history, the second BIOS revision for the board added that support, so I am not sure if the current stock of boards were flashed with that one.
