NVIDIA has officially confirmed pricing and SKU availability for its refreshed Turing lineup featuring the SUPER graphics cards we've been talking about for ages now. Primed as a way to steal AMD-s Navi release thunder, the new SUPER lineup means previously/released NVIDIA grpahics cards have now hit an EOL-status as soon as their souped/up, SUPER versions are available, come July 2nd.

The RTX 2060 and RTX 2080 Ti will live on, for now, as the cheapest and most powerful entries unto the world of hardware/based raytracing acceleration, respectively. The RTX 2070 and RTX 2080, however, will be superseded by the corresponding 2070 SUPER and 2080 SUPER offerings, with an additional RTX 2060 SUPER being offered so as to compete with AMD's RX 5700 ($399 for NVIDIA's new RTX 2060 SUPER vs $379 for the AMD RX 5700, which is sandwiched in the low-end by the RTX 2060 at $349).

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

I just use this to sum the reality of this article

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

2080 Ti is already $999 soooooo.....

Looks like binned 2080 Ti's (founders) will continue to be $1199.

It’s likely that the “super” is directly moving into the same exact price points that already exist. So... the founders cards will probably cost the same as they already do.

It doesn't look like there will be any new 2080 Ti's but the current ones left alone at the same price point.

As long as EVGA creates a blower edition of the 2060 Super or 2070 Super I should be set! AMD Ryzen 3900 and 3000 series launching July 7, 2019 with AMD X570 motherboards from ASUS, MSI and others. It is really the best time to build a new custom built gaming computer!

It will be interesting but I am still waiting since the original rumor was that it would have faster ram. Based on this that isn't the case other then the 2080 Super.

So 2070 & 2080 receive a spec bump, obsoleting the older models, but prices stay the same; 2060 receives a spec bump and a price increase, but older model kept at current prices.

Sounds like something someone with an MBA would come up with

I wouldn't overstate the impact of the spec bump, it's probably a 5% improvement.  If you got a high binned 2080 (FTW3, etc) it probably outperforms a basic 2080 Super.  The 2080 FTW3 was $690 on sale at Newegg a month ago.  I highly doubt the article's accuracy in stating a 2080 Super FE will be $699, unless it's actually not a binned chip on the new cards.  They certainly won't come anywhere near touching a 2080 Ti.

RTX2080 Super now become affordable for more people.
But to late, most people believed that price of Turing will not drop and decide to buy GTX1080 or GTX1080Ti Second Hand.
In my country they are available one day on marketplace, sold immediately, special GTX1080.

EVGA RTX2080 Super + Heatkiller Waterblock - NICE.
But to close to GTX1080Ti to think about update.

I wonder when we'll see an official announcement? I mean they say the second so Tomorrow, but what time? 12:01 AM in Japan for "non-leaked" info or something?
I skipped the first of the RTX cards release, so I still have my 2 1080 tis, though to buy now however I'd need to see gains from a single card over my SLI set-up (factoring in a lot of things don't like SLI does make it a bit more doable, but I may still wait for next gen unless performance gains are a whole lot higher than I'm expecting.)

I'm sure current RTX owners just love this release announcement.

As a current RTX 2080 Ti owner, I have no feelings for this announcement as it doesn't affect me. I upgraded from a 970 and I've been loving this card. Put an EK waterblock on it and it is performing great (looks great too)

I understand you completely. Only lucid person who used to buy 250W graphic cards would never pay same price for RTX2070.
He would rather bought Radeon VII then to full NVIDIA's budget in moment of their worse politic against customers.
And I bought GTX1080Ti second hand and it's relief when you see same performance as 900 euro worth RTX2080 in my region.
Now is little different, maybe I would even paid 699 for RTX2080 Super. It's little difference. Again it's bad feeling because premium GPU cost more but at least have some option.
You can buy RTX2080 with good performance, brand new or you have hope that RTX2080Ti will drop little more from 999$ and then to enjoy in GPU as we used to buy in years before.
I saved money for her, who could know how much will cost.
But now is to late, I need to think about next platform 2020. No space for new GPU. I need to plan like Army years in future, sad, very sad.
Anyway I have performance of RTX2080 Super, or RTX2080. Even now some customers will decide to pay 450$ for second hand GTX1080Ti instead 700$ for new RTX2080 Super.
Price will go even to 400$ for GTX1080Ti.
Only EVGA GTX1080Ti K|NGP|N second hand, used 12-18 months worth more then new RTX2080 Super.
With waterblock special. Between GTX1080Ti KP Hydro Copper and RTX2080 Super Founders Edition I would choose KP Pascal, no matter on new vs used.
Only if both of them have some warranty.

So now that the product prices are confirmed and some benchmarks are out, how are owners of the RTX 2070 & 2080 feeling? Are you happy that the ecosystem is improving — in the sense that with performance per dollar increasing, more software will emerge to take advantage of it? Or are you feeling bummed that your expectations about the longevity of your 2070 / 2080 may not have panned out in this instance?

The RTX 2080 Ti is a binned RTX Titan

There are only a few chips, binning fills out the market segments

happy with my 1080Ti as well. RTX did not WOW me enough to jump out of my every 2 series rotation and super does not count since its still a 20 series card. The only thing that got my attention on RTX 20 was nvlink sli

As long as your popular enough, you can get away with anything.

The RTX 2080 Ti is a binned RTX Titan

There are only a few chips, binning fills out the market segments

How does this apply to the NVIDIA RTX SUPER?

The TU102 is seen with the RTX Titan, Quadro 6000, Quadro 8000 and RTX 2080 Ti, The RTX 2080 Ti is the bottom bin

The TU104 is the RTX 2080 and the RTX 2070 SUPER, the Quadro RTX 5000 has all 3072 shaders rest are bins

The TU106 is the RTX 2070 RTX 2060 SUPER and RTX 2060 etc

Correct me if I am wrong here but I was under the impression that any RTX cards other than the 2080 Ti did not handle ray tracing that well?
