Good evening, I'll get right to the point. I have used all 3 of my SATA modular ports on the back of my power supply and I need more SATA cables for hard drives. Using a molex to SATA is not optional as I don't want to put my data at risk. There is a saying in a forum I frequent, "molex to SATA, lose your data". On the back of my power supply, I noticed "PERIF1" which seems to be reserved for molex cables according to the manual. I looked online and found conflicting reports on whether or not SATA cables can be used in that "PERIF1" port. 

So my 2 main questions, can SATA cables be utilized in the "PERIF1" slot on the back of the powersupply without risking damage to my hardware. My second question, where can I acquire SATA cables specifically for the Supernova 750 G2? Thank you for your time.
 

You can use SATA cables on Perif and vice versa. We can also sell you these cables direct as well. Just send us an email (support@evga.com) or shoot us a support ticket. We recommend to use EVGA only cables.
