I got an email about trading in my old 900 series card for a 20rtx series but I don't see how to do it on the site here. Any admins that can help?

Better to sell it on CL and use the cash towards an new card purchase. Street prices are higher than trade in allowances listed. If it's a "push, pull, tug or tow" sort of thing then go for it. Dead card for credit is ok.

The trade in credit seems a bit too low for my personal liking. I agree that you could get more for it if you're patient enough around the webz.

You have to factor in that the RTX card you are buying is sold at a discount on top of the trade in credit. Overall, you could be saving quite a substantial amount.

Some might not think about it but you do get a 3 Year Warranty to go with it. Most likely not able to use the Step-Up Program on the Trade in but still a new 3 Year Warranty and a new card.

I just picked up an RTX2080 FTW3 Ultra for $759 out the door. Came with a few games too. (before this promotion was announced) This trade in/up whatever you want to call it promotion is a good deal. However, 4th of July (sales) are just around the corner. Even with the tax, you can save $$. Perfect if you are someone like me who didn't need a Ti card. Plus I'm going to give my 970 FTW to my Dad. Trying to sell cards on CL or LetGo is a PITA. Lowballers, etc. I agree that no-cross shipment is a bummer, but we all have two computers right... Z97, Z370, Z390 or maybe 3.

I had no idea the price of the new GPU is discounted, not including the credit you get from the old card. Not too shabby than.
