So I recently just went to Windows 10 Pro.
I have an older Acer X34 with 100Hz refresh, G Sync, and 3440x1440 resolution. This is my main screen. I also have a TV for my second screen I generally put movies, Twitch, or YouTube up on.
When I start up a game on my X34, just the video on the TV lags, audio is fine, even twitch chat scrolls normally.
I have tried running my screen at 60Hz without G Sync.
Tried going into the Compatibility tab in the exe properties for the game (Final Fantasy XIV) and click Disable full screen optimizations.
Tried going back to driver 399.24.
I'm not sure what else to try, it's driving me crazy. Open to more suggestions.
Edit, looks like a M$ issue with DWM. Just read another two forum posts with this issue.
Odds of it getting fixed, never.
