Like the post says chair for gaming I've been to Fry's to check what they have in stock, checked out best buy. Read did all the research on the net that I wanted but I wanted to see them mostly. Then I started to look at Office Chairs. Got wind of a Lawyer that be selling some of his office furniture. I got a SteelCase TB117 series chair for 130.00. Used but in perfect condition it was his chair any way this is a 900.00 chair and it has all the options one should so I'll be sitting good for awhile.....This series type chairs blow gaming chairs away. It's got arm rests that go up and down, back&forth, in&out, turn right&left. And more, SteelCase is name I had never heard of until I bought the chair did some looking in to them and they are top manufacturer of office furniture.....

I bought a similar one to that but with a gaming design (BS racing car seat type lol) for $300 from Staples, It has the same type of armrest you're describing as well, in and out, left and right, up and down, etc. comfy too! so for sure you got a great deal at $130 even if it was used, It's a hell of a steal!

I like the Corsair gaming chairs but the prices are a little beyond my budget right now as I am saving cash for 3rd gen Threadripper. My present chair is an office chair.

Right now my chairs are the cheapo office chairs..and will be until my cats pass (and I HOPE that's not for quite a number of years)! They destroy the chairs I own.

I had a bit of back pain from using a cheaper chair for a long time. When I started working from home I got a DXRacer. Sitting it in 8+ hours a day for well over a year now, my back pain is gone and I find the chair to be very comfortable. I always use both the lumbar and the head pillows. Now I know it's not the greatest chair of all time, but it's working great for me. Plus, build quality seems strong. I beat the hell out of my stuff and it still looks and feels like new.

I'm rocking the Herman Miller Aeron. About $1,200 new, I got it used for $300. Best duckets ever spent. I really want to try the Herman Miller Mirra 2 now...Cheaper but they seem more forgiving in the area behind your knees. So much time we spend in these things, why people spend more money elsewhere baffles me.

I need a mesh material for the seat. Once you get rid of sweaty buns, you never want to go back.
