Ive had my PC built for many years now... it was a 2015 build w/MS Windows 7 64. It has been humming along perfectly up to a few days ago. While gaming, it will crash the game (BF4) and give a DirectX Error. My DirectX is current as well as my Windows version. Is there a quick fix for this or will I have to uninstall/reinstall the DirectX? Also, as stated before... I am on a current and up to date W7 system, is the W10 update still avail for free somewhere legally (FYI; Im not interested in illegal software or torrents). Is it easier just to pay the money and upgrade and get the disk or download, or try and get the free version through MS? Im not looking fwd to updating all the drivers to W7 (z97 Stinger, etc.) but it may be time. Thanks ahead of time.
