If I replace my fully modular G1+ (or G+ as it is also known) with a fully modular G3, is it possible to keep all of G1+ cables? I'd rather not waste time on rewiring everything. I understand that in general this is a no-no idea, but what about this particular case?

I personally always change out the cables. Often when someone changes out a PSU it's because they ran into an issue and sometimes it's the PSU and sometimes it's the cable. By changing everything out you remove any chance of having a problem.

Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.

Hm, just read this in a neighbouring thread:
    "
Re: EVGA G1+ PSUs The new Gold Standard for Performance and Value Wednesday, February 14, 2018 5:53 PM ()

Are any of the custom individual cable kits compatible with these new power supplies?

EVGATech_LeeM:Yes, the cables for G2/G3/P2/T2 are compatible.  We've updated the names and compatibility lists to include the GP (G1+).  Please note that the G1+ power supplies are not compatible with the older G1 cable sets."

This means that native cables should be compatible too as PSU pinouts and voltages must be the same for custom cables to be interchangeable.
