The monitor is currently being previewed, so it could be a while before it hits retail. Aside from the 4K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, this monitor stand apart from the pack thanks to Display Stream Compression technology, which is allows Ultra HD video streams across a single interface. This technology means that you can run at 4K/144Hz without chroma subsampling, which was an issue found with the very first 4K/144Hz monitors to hit the market. It also means all of this can be done over a single DisplayPort 1.4 connection, rather than needing two.

    Impressive.
    This is perfection probably.
I like flat panels more somehow.

I'd still want to know what the PPI is on that thing and if it's compatible with Nvidia.

I will probably never have money to replace my monitor, 1080p.

So what is the difference with this one:

Looks a little faster, but just the compression?

That panel is very thick and heavy looking compared to mine. My panel is thin and IPS so its viewing angles are excellent and the color is HDR compliant 10-bit deep color which works well with my GTX 1060 card

Kind of wish we'd get more options for high end 4k displays at 27-32" but the 43" size seems to be the one with a growing number of options. I keep see monitors and thinking "I wish it wasn't 43" or "I wish it wasn't 21:9/32:9"

Guess I'm really not wanting much more than a premium TV zapped down to 32" for a monitor.
