I take everything like this with a grain of salt and buy based on what I need until I see the official announcement. It's also important to remember the EVGA Step-Up program so you don't have to worry if you buy today.

Remind me, does step-up work for cards bought from authorized resellers or only directly from EVGA.com? If not, I'm already going to list the KP for sale if Nv confirms this statement, however it sounds fake-ish to me.

Figured this would happen back when the 3080ti first released and why I was hesitant. Not gona worry too much about it.. yet. Still working on the new case and 4 rads. Soon to swap over to it as all mods about done. Just gota make 2 pump mounts. Still yet to open the kingpin block box.. Haha. Gota do that today. Atleast looks like it will kill the resale of the evga 1080 classified and 1080ti ftw3 hybrid and ftw3 1080ti elite that I still need to sell.

It won't be "SUPER". That's just marketing hype for something MAYBE 5+% better than the current GPUs. I'd be shocked if it was 20%+. Than I'd maybe say that's 'super' but otherwise, don't feed their hype train. If they release with cheaper pricing, great and thank those that bought the original RTX 2xxx for making it more affordable after the fact.
