Last night, we got to see a tiny bit more of the game, although the biggest news was the release date, with Gears 5 now set for a September launch.
As previously leaked, Gears of War 5 will be releasing on PC and Xbox on the 10th of September. It will also be available through Xbox Game Pass and Game Pass PC on launch day. If you happen to have Game Pass Ultimate, then you will get access to the Gears 5 ‘Ultimate Edition’, which lets you play four days early on the 6th of September.
The Gears 5 multiplayer beta test will be held on the 17th of July, so that will be your first chance to get hands-on with the game. This will be a limited test and from the sounds of it, Game Pass subscribers will get in first before anyone else.
