random issues with precision x1 since latest update

since the last update of precision x1 i have been having issues where it stutters for a second and resets my manual fan curve settings to auto my cards a bit older at this point its a 980ti but had no issues till the latest update of precision x1 was wondering if anyone had any similar issues or possible fix's not sure why would randomly start doing this just by updating the software

    Sounds like it's time to go back to an older version.

    See: How Do I Troubleshoot Precision X1 Issues? posted by EVGATech_AdamB for some good uninstall/install/troubleshooting ideas..The AppData folder is normally hidden, so you may need to unhide it.

    I would be inclined to use Precision XOC on a card in the 900-series and lower, but it's not trouble free either..PX1 will have limited functionality with cards 900-series and lower, but will work to a certain degree.
     
    Try a clean uninstall/install as described in the first link above..If no joy, uninstall and go back to an older version of PX1 (as suggested above) or use PXOC instead.
     
    Be sure to close all other open programs (in the System Tray and Task Bar) before installing Precision.
