Yes, yes, you are right.
I forgot on 3175X model.

People pay a lot for computers, some projects with complicate custom loop could cost even more then building SR-3 with 3175X.
If people payed 2000$ for Intel 18 cores then investing in 3175X and such exclusive motherboard with 64GB of RAM shouldn't be problem for people who want to stay longer there.
Special because Intel launch W3175.
Do you remember SR-2 Classified, people still use that board.
I believe and warranty for SR-3 Dark will be longer then for normal motherboard, at least 5 years.
I like more such projects then every year replacing i7-8700K with i7-8086K then i9-9900K now i9-9900KS... and people do that very often.
Even now EKWB have CPU block compatible with board. Everything is ready.
ASUS and GIGABYTE offer beasts as well, but not like this, not like SR-3 Dark.

I’m curious, don’t hate on me for asking, but does either TiN or “Kingpin” have an EE degree?

I understand there are some very smart self-educated folks out there - but engineering this level of board would seem to require some materials science knowledge and circuit design beyond what “self-taught” would realistically provide...

I have no idea but there are board layout programs you can use also I imagine EVGA employs a design team that is unnamed as well :)

Lol, it’s the unsung heroes that never get their due ;-)

I used to mine. Now I compute.

Can't wait till EVGA release this one...

99% of the ASUS Dominus Extreme was death from the beginning and had to be fixed by replacing the resistors otherwise you would stuck at code error 00.

Gigabyte C621 is a nightmare... Missing Bios Settings, features which are not integrated in the bios but shown as the key features. Bios bugs... The absolutely worst service employees who don't know anything about the matter and certainly don't know anything about the motherboard

All hope is on EVGA...

Unfurtunetly still no Infos or better a release of it.

I'm sure its not too far away and here's Kingpin's recent Record smashing with the SR-3.

Has anyone done a build on a EVGA-SR3-Dark with a
CORSAIR AXi Series, AX1600i, 80+  Power Supply
If so what cables did connect on the 8 pin motherboard
I know its a minimum or 2 but which did you use on the CORSAIR ?
did you manage to use more than 2 ?

Many thank for any help
