    So turns out buying AMD isnt so bad after all :D
     
    Sure only time will tell if something else comes along and hits AMD to this level is up in the air for now but I will take this as a minor blessing for now.

    Perfect time for AMD to strike...while the Iron is hot!  Intel is very vulnerable

    That is a good point. Everyone has focused on Intel and looked at any security flaws it has. Nobody has really focused on AMD since it hasn't had a large market yet.
     
    Also one thing to keep in mind is these flaws keep coming up for Intel but you never hear any major news site cover it other then like CNET. The average public still views AMD as the cheaper off brand not as good processor when buying a computer.

    Well maybe this will help AMD, after all this may lead some of the more average Joe user to look into AMD.
    As for flaws in AMD well yeah nothing is immune but hopefully AMD is more up to the task than intel is even if its smaller.
