Bought a 2080ti FTW3 Ultra and hydro copper month ago, and it can never go up then mem +700 core +50, and then something happened.
 
ICX chip on my card dead when I am playing the new metro game I got from epic sales two days ago, the LED no longer working, and the ICX senor goes dark like the pic below. But the card is still functioning.
Then I notice something funny, now my card can go up to mem +1200 core +140, and my 3dmark score risen about 10%...
 
BTW, am I the first one unlocked ICX chip failure achievement?

    Are you sure it's not an OS related bug? Did you re-install windows? If yes, did you try your card in another computer to see if you had the same results?
     
    If so then a component on the card might have failed, explaining the ICX failure. The increased o/c capabilities could be due to this failure as well. Even if you see this as a good result, there might be a chance that your card is slowly frying!

    Interesting.. well I dont use PX1 to overclock anyways as i cant lock the voltages needed for the high overclock. If i try (2080ti ftw3 or KP 2080ti) I'll get a voltage 1 as the voltage is low at like 1.050v even though I have the voltage set to max.

    Using afterburner curve i can set the dot on the curve to a set voltage and clock and it will use it.

    So is your card now maxing out the voltage of 1.093v for your higher overclock?

    Just encase but you are hitting the ICX button at the bottom in PX1 and the only temp shown is just the GPU?

    GPU-Z can access ICX sensors data just like standard sensors, but now only standard sensors are available.

    Test in another computer and RMA if it persists

    If your iCX is not working, we would recommend RMAing the card, though that decision is up to you.
    As far as iCX having any bearing on overclocking, it is purely a monitoring and reporting system and would have no affect on OC ability.
