It can get to the point of spam if we see too many posts promoting associate codes. From what I have seen people use codes more often from being a positive forum member with a lot of posts on different threads then from creating a new forum topic. It’s more about what the potential customer comes to the forum and finds interesting. It’s like each topic is a commercial and most of the time the topics that people want to read are not ones promoting a code but the ones that they find an answer they are looking for.

Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.

"It’s like each topic is a commercial" Maybe this is why EVGA Created the Program in the First Place.

First off my Thread was Promoting the Sale of the EVGA X299 Motherboards.
Kind of to bad because it was a Great Sale for the X299 Dark Motherboard.

EVGA needs to Drop the add-on &associatecode=9E88QK5L7811G3H that allows users to promote their Code

Why in the first place was this created by EVGA if only for the EVGA Forum Moderator to tear it down.

This applies to the Thread I made for the Sale of the GPU HYBRID Coolers from where the this image came from but the Thread was Deleted.

Not that I want to or need to but how different are my Threads then the Below Threads from a single member.
EVGA NU Audio Discount Codes and Much More!
EVGA Z390 Discount Codes and Much More!
EVGA X299 Discount Codes and Much More!
EVGA PSU Discount Codes and Much More!
2080 Ti Discount Codes and Much More!

My Threads were based on In-Stock Product (K|NGP|N)* and Products that are on Sale on EVGA's Website and not about Discount Codes.

It does seem odd that they'd create the program in such a manner that it encourages promoting it via posts only to turn around and have the mods
delete the posts that promote it...at least to me...

The blurb in your signature really doesn't mean a lot to most people (it's not looked at, imo, unless you have an issue and your
    specs are there)..

I think this whole this is gotten out of hand. Every post now looks like a billboard "Get 5 or 10% off blah blah blah"
What happened to no self promotion posts? It is annoying to see advertisement for discounts in darn near every post now.
EVGA should just lower the prices by 10% FOR EVERYONE ALL THE TIME AND BE DONE WITH THIS NONSENSE.
The debacle with getting 100 posts and the spam posts it created to this nonsense. Is this really necessary...

It’s a referral bonus. In the last week only three people have used my code. I don’t know how others are doing with the program but it really doesn’t seem that much. I am truly thankful for all those but it’s clearly far less then everyone who is using one.

I can’t speak for why Sajin would remove a post but normally we don’t remove posts and I would assume it would have been approved by the webmaster. We want people to take advantage of the program but also need to keep the forums a good place to come and read, learn and share information.

Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.

Word of mouth is great, so is the ability to read at the bottom of every one of the members here that have the code plastered all over the bottom of their posts. Personally, I would never use anyone's code that has to "advertise it". Only my opinion so do not take it personally :)

I am sorry but I think this is getting out of hand. It is like everyone is becoming an EVGA salesman.
And yes I understand what word of mouth is and what a referral bonus is, this is more than that. This is not word of mouth.
It is a billboard in almost every post on this site now. When is too much, too much?
Is there not a forum rule about self promotion? How is a thread allowed that is saying use my code so I get paid for selling products?
How is having a huge banner in my sig saying use my code so I can make some money not self promotion?
Yeah it says " You can save" but lets be real, it is not there for you to save, it is there to make money.
But it is what it is, I'll just do my best to avoid it.

    A. No. Associates may not receive discounts through the use of an Associate Code.

But I did get a $95 Discount on the KP card for using another Members Code.
Because of this was why   and that is now gone.
That Member got $54 EVGA Bucks
This was my order and I did not have any EVGA Bucks but you see $95 saving I got

Now today I see this... Something Changed.    This is no longer Required this is why it changed.

The KP cost $1899.99 but well all paid $1804.99 Less anyone that used their EVGA Bucks.

We all got the Savings when the Product was only an  Product.
This is why we got the Discount when we bought our KP Cards.

So 95$ when someone uses your code and buys a 2080ti they were going to buy anyway, and we have to fold 21 million points (gtx1080 24/7 100% load for 25 days) to get 10$ . Yeah that seems right.
I don't know, maybe it is best I just not think about these things before I say something I may regret.

Depends on the Card, I only got 54 EVGA Bucks from a member that used my code to buy a KP Card.
The $95 was my Discount when I bought my KP Card and this Discount ended when they removed the from the Product Page.

But now I know why you quit the Program.

Unless you have something like this in your Signature

My signature doesn't directly say to use my code. EVGA made the banners to be used in your signature, so I'm using them.

What happened to no self promotion posts?

EVGA changed the rules and is now allowing it. That is what happened.

Tin_EE deleted the thread. I didn't do it.

Nothing was posted saying it does directly say to use your code.

I disagree with that statement as I made 1200+ evga bucks off just my signature. =)
