I have a brand new GTX 1660 and I noticed something weird, since I'm not an expert at all I need some confirmation or clarifications about it.

When I play any game, let's say Destiny for example it shows that is only using 2gb out of the 6gb, when I check temps and other details with programs like speccy it shows this:

Is this normal or something is not working properly with the 1660?

Welp that shows 6GB ram.. so destiny dont need all 6GBs of your card or you need to turn up some settings in the game to use more vram.

Oh I see, thanks for the clarification. One last thing, I know the 1660 ti is better but overall the 1660 is a good card for gaming?

What resolution are you playing @ 1080p or 1440 ?

Look at the Sensor tab while playing it will show utilization & other useful things

That 1600 card is made for 1080 screen res. You dont want to use it for 1440. Not enough vram to keep the frame rate up.

From reviews I dont think the ti version is that much faster.
