You should poke around over at the Gigabyte Forums to see what problems others are having with that board as well as other good information on stuff.

There's been 4 BIOS Updates so far to address various issues and you should update to the latest one as soon as possible, if needed..And you should periodically check for new updates..You'll find the latest drivers and software on the motherboard page, drivers and software on the motherboard install/driver CD may be older.

You should also thoroughly review the motherboard manual, especially the BIOS settings.

As far as compatibility with an EVGA 750W Platinum unit, no problemo..The Platinum units even have 2x 8pin (4+4) connectors for the dual 8-pin CPU power sockets on that board which is for better/more stable overclocking should you choose to do so.

To see if 750W is enough power for your needs, you should use the OuterVision Power Supply Calculator to get an estimate.

If you use the EVGA Power Meter (which isn't as detailed, but will do), you'll recieve a 10% discount code (with conditions) in your email just for using it and is good toward the purchase of any EVGA PSU.

Yea I have been checking else where at mo for any other problems, I'm using a beta bios newer than on the site from them, at the moment Ive got a problem with ErP in bios I enable it and the pc is not acting right. Think it's bios related. But It was one of the new feature I was wondering. The power loading feature, it loads a dummy load when the psu is at low load setting

So will this affect the Evga PSU in any way or don't i need to worry about low load and can disable?
