I have a Lian PC-O11 Dynamic with a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master motherboard. My USB 3.0 front ports are not working right. This issue happens on both ports. When I plug in a drive it shows up for like 2 seconds then disappears. I have tried this with an external DVD, USB flash drives, External HDD & SSD. All have the same issue. I have tried re-seating the cable twice & the issue persists. Is this the case/ ports? Is it the board or a setting in BIOS I am missing? IDK. Any thoughts appreciated.

    Are your Chipset Drivers Current?
    Intel® Chipset Driver for Windows Version: 10.1.17969.8134 (Latest) 
    You might want to see if your Rear I/O Shield is installed correctly and that no Metal Tabs are shorting out your USB Ports or Network Ports.
    Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master Bios Current and have the latest USB Drivers installed?
    Seems that MB only supports Win10 ver.1809, how odd.
    You can also use Device Manager and right click on your USB Ports a Click Driver Update. 
    Do you have Power Management Turned Off on your USB Ports and Hubs?

    When you open "File Explore" the USB port does not show ?

    Is Fast Startup disabled ?
     
    Remember to turn Windows 10 Fast Startup OFF, when upgrading drivers, firmware or hardware

    With Windows 10 there is a new “hybrid” startup mode that should cut down on boot up times.  It does this by putting the PC into hibernation instead of fully shutting down."

    In "Device Manager" check that the USB 3.0 extensible host controller is loaded correctly - no error (yellow circle)
     
    Update /reload the driver from your MB / hardware Mfg of USB hub

    Looks like Chipset update did the trick. Thanks. I also disabled USB selective suspend for good measure.
     
    I forgot to disable Fast Startup when I built this one so thank you for the reminder.
