I know this sounds weird but I recently flashed to 1.17 bios from 1.07 on bios 1 for my x299 dark. all seemed fine until I started getting BSOD WHAE_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR between 2-45 mins after the computer is brought back from a BSOD. I haven't installed anything new post bios flash ( or anything in general for a couple weeks). I wouldn't think a bios flash would cause inconsistent bsod. I swapped over to bios 2 (v1.07) and after 4 hours of attempting to recreate the bsod to no success. However, I turned the computer off swapped back to bios 1 (v1.17) and 5 mins into just sitting at the desktop with nothing launched besides steam running in system tray boom bsod again with the same error. I have done everything listed under microsofts page for that bsod call out and doesn't seem to do anything.

Has anyone else run into this before either with the 1.17 bios or any other bios in the past?

My question is do yall think it was just a bad flash and should attempt flashing that bios again on slot 1 to see if that clears things up or maybe its a bigger issue?

Did you set the Bios back to the Defaults BEFORE you updated to 1.17.
If not then then enter back into the Bios and then Press the Small Red Button on the Motherboard.
This well reset the Bios and force you back into the Bios.
Then Re-Flash with Bios 1.17. I am not seeing Any Issues with this Bios.
"WHAE_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR" Overclock to high on CPU
From Bios 1.07 to 1.17 is a VERY Large Jump and you will need to redo your Overclock Settings in the Bios.
The Settings you used under Bios 1.07 most likely Not would under  1.17.
You will also need to redo the Overclocking on your Graphics Card as well.

Note: This Applies ONLY to EVGA Motherboards and No Other Brands of Motherboards.

I did reset to default via bios and confirmed default on everything prior to the flash. I am just going to re-flash that bios again and see if anything changes. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this with bios flashing. If worst comes to worst ill just run on 1.07

I will go ahead and do the cmos clear in the 1.17 Bios prior to re-flashing again just to be extra sure everything is cleared.

Unfortunately the bsod came back late last night. Thought I might have figured out what was triggering it but cant seem to replicate it this morning to no success. This go around it happened while encoding on one of my 2080ti KPs. removed all nvidia drivers and did a fresh install of 430.64. I will update if it occurs again. Next step I am going to go with is reformatting and starting everything 100% fresh.

First I would go back to Driver 425.31
"one of my 2080ti KPs" do you have Two Cards installed?
Then Test with One Memory Stick to see if you have bad memory.
